Jonny Quest from McFarlane Toys
BRAIN: Series two of the Hanna-Barbera figures has a Jonny Quest figure. Why didn't they make the pterodactyl tail connect to the rock below it so they didn't have to have that black pole up it's ass? AND where was series one? Check out the other figures in this series here.

The Descent - Review
BRAIN: Zed and I saw this last night. Start the review off Zed.
ZED: I dug it man simple horror, a couple of hot chicks go spelunking, some evident conflicts so you know there's going to be some vengeance. Most of the "surprises" I saw coming but I jumped once and I was surprised with one of the deaths. The creature was cool, simple and scary, I won't give away too much but I only had one major movie flaw issue with the movie and that was the creatures senses. I mean come on, if a creature has adapted to a lightless existance and an outside existance (they hunt outside) you really can't pull off the creature is right next to you but doesn't know you're there scene (sorry for the spoiler but you had to know there'd be one of those in here). Other than that, if you go in expecting a cool adventurey creature horror movie, you'll get it.
NEXT WEEK: SNAKES ON A PLANE

Wow! Bagley Calls It Quits
BRAIN: I just read that Mark Bagley is calling it quits on Ultimate Spider-man with #110. Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley have been on this title from the beginning and hold the record for the longest writing and drawing team in comic book history. I've read almost every issue of this run, mostly in trade form, and it's always good. I'm very sad to hear that he is leaving.
