Brain Vs Zed is no more. It was fun while it lasted. Check out TheTotalRecall. I'll be contributing over there from now on. I'll still be blogging at CheckTheCoolWax. There is a bunch of superhero stuff over there.

Cap is dead. Long live Cap.

Wish I could find this comic. They are sold out everywhere! Frak!

New Earthworm Jim On It's Way

I'm sure it will be screwed up, but there is a new one on it's way. I loved this game. I remember staying up super late with my nephews trying to get by Major Mucus or something like that...

Card Bank

This is one of the coolest sites I've found in a long time. They have tons of images from non-sport trading cards. You can waste a lot of time here. It's called Bubblegum-Cards.com.

Ghost Ride Has Made $52+ Mill So Far

Still haven't seen Ghost Rider yet. I actually went to see it at midnight last Thursday night with two friend only to find that Sony yanked the showing at the last minute. Nice.

Spider-Man 2.1

This will hit DVD shelves on April 17 and have 8 extra minutes. This works out pretty good for me. A co-worker lost my Spidey 2 DVD so I need a new one...

Um... I Don't Think So...

In my newest issue of Blender magazine, I came across an article called Rock Star Wars. It has been an on-going monthly series set up in a bracket-style contest to find the best Rock had/has to offer. I almost shit when I read The Talking Heads beat Elvis. Sorry. No. I will agree to Elvis being beaten (maybe) by The Beatles or Dylan or maybe even The Stones. What you see above is one of the four brackets. Prince, The Beatles, Bob Dylan and The Talking Heads(?!?!) still remain. How do I cancel my subscription? They've lost their credibility...

The Marvel Zombies' train still won't slow down. Now it's Minimates! I wonder if these will be available for the summer cons...?

The Batman

Zed tipped me off to watch The Batman on Saturday morning. It was an episode set in the future a-la Dark Knight Returns. Good episode. I'll have to watch this more.

Marvel Zombie's Hostess Ad - Spoof

Getting Better

I have to say that I dug the new Animated Iron Man DVD that came out last week. The animation could still use a little help, but it's getting better. The story kept me going even though it would have been fun to see him fight a more high-tech villain. No real complaints though. It exceeded my expectations. These Marvel DVDs are getting better.

Take Note George Lucas...

80+ great artists were tapped to sketch on a blank cover of Ultimate Spider-Man #100. The Hero Initative, who set this up, is a not-for-profit corporation that helps creators in need. I hope all 100 covers are published sometime.

I'll take one of these too, but I don't know what the hell I'd do with it.

Someday

Someday when I start buying these kinds of things, I want this one too.

Here is a fun way to waste some time. This page as a ton of expressions spashed across the screen when Batman or Robon slugged it out with the goons.

R2-D2 DVD Player and Projector

Nikko has announced an R2D2-shaped one-third-scale LCD projector that includes a DVD player, firmware that supports MP3s and JPEGs, USB input, an iPod dock, wireless FM audio, and a Millennium Falcon remote-control. The head spins around, too. They also have an R2D2 base-station for a light-saber-shaped Skype phone.

Art School Batman Project

Some place called Dave School gets commissioned to do movies for Art Asylum's Minimate line. I watched X-Men Dark Tide and it was just OK but I really liked Batman New Times. The best part is that they got Adam West and Mark Mamill.

Pathfinder

Totally up my alley.....Vikings vs indians....way cool.

Stan Lee: Still got it?

Might be cool....

Super Hero Squad

I can't pass by a cool little figure and not buy it. These two from Hasbro's new Marvel Super Hero Squad are awesome. Series One includes Captain America & Hawkeye, Wolverine & Sabertooth, Cyclops & Magneto, Angel & Colossus. I just know I'll end up getting them all. My compulsive collecting personality will make me. (Referring to Galactic Heroes, Heroclix & Minimates...) Series 2 comes out in a few months.

There is also a set coming out with the new Fantastic Four movie.
